Santé Surgical Centre is a state of the art surgery facility in Medicine Hat, Alberta, offering expedited access for a wide range of day surgeries including orthopaedic, general, dental, reconstructive and cosmetic treatments. The centre currently operates six days a week: Santé Surgi-Centre is fully accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta as well as the Alberta Dental College. With one operating room and a three bed recovery room, the patient-centered facility is designed around creating a safe and comfortable patient experience. We accomplish this by ensuring that you feel comfortable with the facility and staff prior to your surgery. We will call within one week prior to your surgery to answer any questions and again one day after your surgery. The Centre maintains a nurse to patient ratio of up to 1 Registered Nurse for every 2 patients, creating an environment for high quality patient care. Santé Surgi-Centre boasts some of the most up to date equipment available, including the EVLT (Endovenous Laser) for Varicose Vein Treatment as well as leading edge equipment that allows for less invasive techniques in all areas. As an Ambulatory Surgical Centre we serve as a complement to the many other health services available through the public healthcare system.
